Industries was founded in 1986 as a fabricator of thermal insulation
products for original equipment manufacturers (OEM) in North Carolina
and the surrounding area. The company soon developed many major accounts
and today is the premier supplier and fabricator of insulation materials
for thermal (heat and cold), acoustical, and vibration isolation/absorption
applications in the southeastern part of the country.

Through the years LIT Industries has developed an impressive array of fabricating capabilities, including die cutting, CAD driven cutting systems, laminating, slitting, kiss cutting, industrial sewing and others. With experience in over 100 markets, we have gained considerable expertise in the air conditioning and heating, foodservice equipment, light commuter rail, locomotive, appliance, industrial heating and acoustical industries.

Industries developed and produces RapidWrap,
the premier removable, reusable thermal insulation cover in the market
today. RapidWrap
covers have found use in turbines, heat exchangers, flanges, valves,
diesel engines, and other thermal equipment and acoustical applications.
